Hello there! My name is Rich (that’s my handsome mug to the left)

I am currently a cardiac sonographer in Lansing, Michigan. I started this website as a hobby, but also to provide resources on becoming an ultrasound technician. I love this career and I think it is a good fit for people that want to get into the medical field, but aren’t sure which occupation to pursue.

It provides a great living and is very rewarding. When I am not working I also enjoy painting and skiing, but otherwise I add content to this blog regularly. The information on this career can be a little scattered over the net, so I started this site an all in one stop for everything you need to know on all the aspects of becoming a sonographer.

Here you will find information such as ultrasound tech schools by state, job requirements, salary info and the jobs that will be available once you have completed your training. This site is an ongoing project, but there is a wealth of information already available to give you a good overview.
